Getting this typewriter to type a nice sentence is hard work, there are issues with its erratic habits, but a mostly slippy skippy carriage is great for sketching, and the bad type impressions in upper case start to become useful when looked at purely as mark-making. A typesketcher.
Complete fluke. I only noticed this weirdness when I came to reinsert the paper to finish the bird.
Just practising sketching a more detailed picture. This lady captivates me, what is she laughing about? Though she could also be crying. . .Typed on my Remington Deluxe Model 5. I love the American layout on a typewriter, the hashtag and dollar sign for shading are a welcome change from all the fractions! Typed on watercolour paper to avoid mushing the paper over darker areas.
